|
|
I just purchased JS and I've been able to get jam with audio working, but I have a few questions:
1) Are song parts (intro, verses, etc.) supposed to be generated from Sonar's markers, or do they have to be constucted manually inside of JS?
2) When using JS with pre-recorded songs, I notice that the drim volume tends be be quite low and I have crank it up to max along with compression in the mixer. Could I be doing something wrong?
3) Can jam with audio be used on more than one track at a time (and should it be)? In other words, should I insert the effect that sends the audio (I forget what it's called) into guitar, bass, and piano, or would that overwhelm JS?
Thanks for any help!

The VST interface does not provide such information from host to plug so you have to create it in JS.

What is the position of the song power knob during such situations?

Yes, you can insert audioM8 in multiple tracks. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'll find out where the knob is when I'm able to fire it up later.
Regarding multiple tracks using audioM8, does this give better results than using a single track?
Also, what specific instruments give the best results?
Thanks,

Using several tracks can smooth things out and avoid unintended dynamic drops. I recommend audioM8ing the main instruments (bass, piano, rhythm guitar) _________________ Ralph Zeuner
