| I think there is a way to do this, but when I try it doesn't work. Instead of programming in jamstix2, to be able to use the staff view in Sonar 6.2, to input the drum parts. When I try it, I get no sound. Is this possible, and also are drum sheet music, or tab I guess it is called, are the drums universal in notation? |

Have you looked into SONAR's Drum Map Manager? There are lots of .map files provided with SONAR for all sorts of kits including GM (General MIDI), which is closest to "universal".

hi susan,
After posting that, I sort of found what I needed, it was the drum module setting, but was wondering if there was a way to use it with other drummers was the main thing. |
