I am playing with Jamstix2.52 in Reaper. When I enable JAM WITH AUDIO and insert AudioM8 on an audio track I see the Audio Feed box light up as expected.
However - when I remove the AudioM8 from the reaper track, the light continues to light, and it seems the audio track continues to send into jamstix.
Is this normal? Can't I turn off the audio feed so as to send from a different Reaper audio track? |

That's odd. I recommend you change the audioM8 placement as desired and then save/reload the project in the host. This will reinitialize everything. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Well. on further messing with it -
If the AudioM8 is removed while reaper is in either playback or pause - then it never really goes away. Reaper says it does, and the GUI goes away, and the FX chain list says it does, but it keeps on sending audio to the JamStix track.
If reaper is totally stopped when the AudioM8 plug is removed, then it quits sending audio to the JamStix track.
Edit - BTW reaper version 3.05
This behavior also seems to also be true with FX bypass in reaper -
If the AudioM8 plug is bypassed (by clicking the little check box in reaper) while Reaper transport is in play or pause, it says it is bypassed but audio continues to be sent to the JamStix track
If Reaper is totally stopped, then the FX bypassed, then Reaper re-started, the audio is not sent. |
