Hi, Ralph. I have the habit of reinstalling all my system and programs periodically. This time I decided to give Vista 64 a try. I reinstalled Jamstix 2 just fine, but when it asked me to enter Jamcussion license code, it says “invalid code. the file is not being loaded“. I have used this code at least twice in Windows XP with no problems. I tried to enter in both Sonar 8 and Chainer with the same resulting message. Am I missing something?

What version # is shown in Jamstix in the top right corner?

| I“ve tried with 2.5.0, 2.5.1 and the latest beta, all of them rejecting the license. |

Please send me a screenshot of JS2 with your name shown in the corner. It may be a case issue.

Glad you asked me for a screenshot so that I could see I registered with the wrong name, I put a space in between the letters of my surname and now I can“t re-register. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it did not ask me for a new license. Is there a way of re-enter the code without uninstalling?

Add this line to jamstix2.ini in the [General] section:
CILReset=1
Now start Jamstix and you can re-register.
After that remove the line from the ini file.
