|
|
Hovering over the "Half-Time" button on the main Jamcussion screen displays a message "that some styles may not support this." I was wondering which Jamcussion styles support half-time. I've tried quite a few and can't seem to find any.
I'm hoping to switch between 8th note and 16th note grooves with the conga and bongo players. Less busy during a verse and busier during the chorus.
Thanks for any help. Jamcussion continues to surprise and delight me. |

Jamcussion does not currently support halftiming. It was deemed too complex for the little use it would likely get. Halftiming in JS2 is not simply doubling all time deltas as other products do but is a true A.I. function that is style-dependent.
I'll see what we can do... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the update Ralph.
Instead of doing half time for all styles, would it be easier to create a new style that is less busy? Or maybe a Simplifier slider?
Although I'm now getting good results with the "Modern -> Light & Funky" and "Latin -> Latin Standard" styles. Disabling some of the elements also simplifies the groove.
Again, thank you for an excellent product and the best support! |

The 'Simplifier' is a good idea. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
