This is just the oddest thing...
Do you have an earlier version of Jamstix (i.e. 2.5 updater or earlier)?

still getting noise with older version, BUT...
I just discovered that the noise only happens when i preview before loading the offending kits. (i always use preview so i didn't think of turning it back off) If I just load without previewing all is ok.
I can live with that as long as the kits are still useable. it's only a problem with a few kits so I don't mind |

Interesting. I'll look into that. Do you preview the kit in the kit loading screen or individual sounds in the klit editor?
Also, please revert to the 2.5.1 DLL and see if the problem is connected to 'preview' there as well.

I mainly preview in the kit loading screen. but sometimes I mix samples so I preview in the individual sounds editor too
one of the samples I have problems with is the KICK - 22" STANDARD. if I preview a kit that uses this kick in the kit loading screen, it continues to make noise after loading.
but, if I load a kit that uses KICK - 22" STANDARD without previewing in the kit loading screen, there's no noise after loading
if I load a kit that uses a different kick then go to the individual sounds editor and preview KICK - 22" STANDARD it makes noise. however, the noise stops after loading it from there. weird!
so the problem is with previewing, more so in the kit loading screen
yikes. I hope that's easier to understand than it was to explain
this happens in 2.5.1 |
