|
|
I have started to try using multiple audio outputs to get a better mix. I am using JS in Sonar Home 7. When I insert JS I get 8 audio tracks, I selected option 8 on the 'select output routing' drop-down but when I try all the different drums I find kick/snare/toms all go through tracks 1 and 8 and everything else goes through a couple of other tracks e.g 4 and 5. I have tried other output routings and none of them work as described. I have checked the inputs on the audio tracks and they each seem to be assigned to a different JS output.
Anyone got any ideas on this, seems like some mapping has gone wrong somewhere. |

| A bit more playing around and it seems fine if I load JS and use standard rock kit but if I load something else like BonzoPak standard kit then it all goes wrong, even if I swap back to rock standard kit. |

Make sure 'Downmix' in the JS2 mixer is NOT checked when using multiple outputs. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph.
It seems that when I switch to Bonxo Pak standard (and possibly other kits) the downmix swithc gets checked, even though it wasn't before. |

Yes, those kits set the switch. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
