Hi, THis is pre-sales question. I like this program! The damn thing is following my freakout piano! I am using the demo, but I notice that compared to "traditional" loop drums, the volume level on Jamstiix seems lower. JS is still very audible, but not as punchy or plain loud as "Studio Instruments" in Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio 7XL. All settings are equal at default values. One idea I have, is this simply due to the considerable difference in dynamics that JS has compared to the other looped drums?

As the song power knob goes down (due to jamming or manual adjustment) so goes the dynamic of the drums and with it the volume. You can counteract this in two ways:

- raise 'Min Dyn' slider to limit how low the velocity of the drums can go

or

- increase gain in the Jamstix mixer

Another way is to alter the MIDI data before it goes into JS. For example, you could "compress" it (like you would to an audio signal) using tools like the ones from www.thepiz.org.
