Hi,
I am absolutely new to this forum and to homerecording at all. I just bought Jamstix2 and this is the first question that is upcoming:
One can use some 6/8-styles (for example 6-8 Rock). When I use this style it sill shows up as a 4/4 metric in the bar editor and worse it plays as a 4/4 metric. How can I achieve that JS2 plays a 6/8 metric ?. I also changed the metric in my VST host (Music Creator 4) to 6/8 - but this didn't change anything in JS2.
Thanks in advance

Changing the time signature in the host should be enough. Please try this:
- new project in MC4
- set time sig to 6/8
- load Jamstix 2
- load 6/8 style
If it still plays incorrectly, send me the file rzdlog.txt from the My Documents\Jamstix 2 folder. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Update:
first thanks for your support, Ralph.
I works now - what I found out:
- Change metric in Music Creator 4 (6/8 )
- load jamstix2, 6/8 style drummer and kit
- start the preview in JS2 (the 2 arrowed circle in the upper left of the bar editor)
- -> it won't work
- start Music Creator 4 and stop it (if you have no other track with data define a loop and let it run/stop)
- start the preview in JS2 again
- -> it works now.
thanks

Sounds like MC4 doesn't send the time sig info to JS2 until you start it once. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
