Hi Ralph,
I've just tried Jamstix 2 ver 2.5.0 today. I use Cubase 4 essential as the host. I've got 2 problems and 1 question.
- After I worked few bars in a project, when I open the cubase again, my song (in Jamstix) is completely gone! Note that I saved the project with Jamstix window opened. So when I loaded the project, I can see the song in Jamstix (in a really short time) and then it opened the quick start window, and when I closed that quick start window, the song was gone.
I've tried to revert back to version 2.2.1, but the problem is still the same.
Is there anything that I can send you for you to be able to investigate that thing (which is a serious bug I believe)?

- In that missing song, Jamstix generated some snare ghosts with snare velocity like 30, but sometimes when I played back the song, it generated a snare sound with a velocity like 80/90 (a full snare sound - not a ghost snare sound). What was happening?
If that was a random function in Jamstix, don't you think it randomized things too much? Is there any parameter to control it?

This one is just a question:
I've noticed in options page there is a function auto save. Where will it auto save the song to?

I've just tried to create the song again in Jamstix, and now whenever I re-open the project, Jamstix resets itself.. The song was gone, the kit & mixer settings were gone too.
This was happening after I upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.5.0.

That is a bug in 2.5.0. Please upgrade to 2.5.1 RC1 which has the problem fixed.

The Auto-Save stores in My Documents\Jamstix2\Revisions.

Please send me a song file that demonstrates the snare ghost problem so I can research it.

thanks for version 2.5.1 which solves one of the problem.
I'll email you if I encounter the ghost snare problem again (since it was deleted by version 2.5.0)
