|
|
Hello,
just installed Steinberg Cubase 5. Afterwards all my VST-Plugins. They all work. JS2 does not!
What I tried already: Installing, De-Installing, all in different installation paths. Last was C:\vstplugins.
My system: Vista 64 bit.
Thanks for help! |

Hmm no problem here with C5 and WinXP SP3.
Did you make C5 scan the VST folder again? |

.... so many times. I clicked "aktualisieren" dozends of time. Copied JS2 dll in every directory which is normaly automatically scanned by Cubase.
When I open a project which worked properly with former version of Cubase, Cubase 5 says "missing instrument" but the dll is definitely in the directories which also contain other plugins (Halion f.i.)
Any idea? |

Found something in VST2xBlackList.xml. Obviously C5 found the plugins but to whatever reason does not accept them.

Are you running 64 or 32 bit of Cubase 5? That may make a difference. My IK plugs don't like the vst bridge in the 64 bit of sonar and cubase and just won't load. Same with superior 2. Most plugs are 32 bit so they should be somewhere in the program files(x86) folder and not the normal 64 bit program files folder.
Also I will say 32 bit cubase runs excellent on 64 bit vista. _________________ Straight Jacket Sunday, Multiple Personality Disorder coming soon... |

He's running Cubase 64-bit.
At this time it looks as if the Cubase BitAdapter doesn't like Jamstix 2. It doesn't even load audioM8. We'll continue to look into this but hopefully Steinberg will improve the adapter since there are many commercial 32-bit plugins that it cannot currently load. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
