Hi-

2.5.1 Beta 1

I had to search for quite a while to find the source of a China cymbal in one part of my song. It wasn't in the Beat Editor, my Accents and Fills were turned off. I couldn't and still don't see why the China cymbal sound was being added, so I just went into the Kit Editor and set them all to "No Sound". That fixed the problem, but I don't know why the sound was added in the first place.

JS Jazz Kit with Afro-Cuban Jamcussion.

Hi Ralph-

What would you like me to send? This is a REAPER project using audiom8 and Jam with Audio.

Thanks!

Hi Ralph-

Did anything jump out at you in the file I sent? There are other measures where the China sounds as well.

Thanks-

This is what I have found so far in your file: the china/tom notes are triggered via MIDI input from your Trilogy track. If you mute that track, the notes stop. However, I don't know enough REAPER to figure out how that MIDI track can trigger Jamstix. A work-around is to disable 'MIDI Play In Jam' in the JS2 options.

Hi Ralph-

I'm sure that will help a lot. There shouldn't be any tracks feeding MIDI into the JS track anyway, so I'll disable 'MIDI Play in Jam'. Maybe I mis-routed the Trilogy output somehow.

What I meant to do was just route the audio tracks to the audiom8 track, and fiddle around with the amount of audio being sent from each track to see if/how that affected JS. This project is more or less a "playground" for me! Wink

Thanks much, as always!
