Jamcussion is excellent - getting some nice percussion grooves out of it.

The only issue I have, and I have encountered this in both Cuase Essential 4 and Tracktion 3 is that when the UI is open it seems to affect playback quite badly - clicks and pops etc. When not visible, everything is fine.

I also right clicked on some of the items in the Jamcussion style area which caused the UI to lock up completely.

I'm using XP SP3 on a Dell laptop. No issues with any other plug-ins, and I don't recall any issues with Jamstix prior to 2.5.0.

That doesn't sound normal. Can you send me the file rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix2?

Actually, I think I've tracked down the culprit to my soundcard - I have just changed to a Maya44 USB which appears to be adversely affected by screen activity. I've just discovered the Cubase setting to boost audio priority and the problem seems to have gone away. I think Jamstix makes it more prominant as there is a fair bit going on in the UI!

All I need now is the equivalent boost setting for Tracktion and Reaper!

I do have another question, though - why does the play power control no longer appear as automatable? I used to be able to adjust it manually with automation when in Jam Mode - No Input.

Please double-check this. It works fine here.

Odd - it shows up fine in Tracktion and Reaper but not in Cubase.

I guess the bug is in Cubase!

However, if I place it in an Instrument Track it shows up, just not when in the Instrument Rack. Bloody computers! Very Happy
