Hello Ralph,
thereīs a bug when loading kits: loading new kits -either drums or percussion- leads to an automatic unloading of the sounds in the other section. Means: loading a drum kit unloads the sound of the Jamcussion kit and vice versa. Although this doesnīt seems to happen every time?!
Doing this when the host is running and preview is enabled, I can hear in the moment I click "load" in the kit window that all the percussion sounds are unloaded. When I then click on "Perc" I see all the 12 slots empty. Now I click "load" and in the moment I select a Jamcussion kit everthing is silent. The drum kit is unloaded and although preview is active I can not yet hear the percussion. Only after clicking "load" I can hear the sounds. When I then try to load another Jamcussion kit the preview works again.
This unloading issue can lead to no sound loaded at all. At that moment I also saw that the kit window still shows the name of the drum kit, but only when "Perc" is clicked and the 12 empty slots for the percussion sounds are visible. As soon as I click "Drums" it shows correctly "not loaded".
(As I am on the "simple-green" skin "Drums" and "Perc" refer to the resp. buttons on top of the Jamstix window)
Can you reproduce this behaviour? I am on Ableton Live here (latest version), but I donīt think that the host influences this?!
