I downloaded Jamcussion for JS2 and I am using Sonar 8 Producer. When I use the install pak button, both JS2 and Sonar freeze up. I am running Sonar on Vista.

Make sure you have Jamstix 2.5 and then use SAVIHost or MiniHost to load Jamcussion.

First, I made sure I was update to JS2.5, then I downloaded a minihost zip file. When I try to unzip and install it I get a message that reads ( are you sure you want to completly remove jamstix 2 and all of its components?

The message sounds like the Jamstix uninstaller. Are you sure you are clicking on the right thing? Unzipping the MiniHost ZIP file should not produce anything concerning Jamstix as the two are completely unrelated. The ZIP file should give you a minihost.exe which you can run and then use 'Load VST' to load Jamstix into it to install Jamcussion.

I installed minihost and when I hit the installpak button it still locks up on me through minihost

Please start MiniHost with right-click->Run As Administrator and see if that helps.
