This is probably more of a feature request, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else agrees.

To me, the natural way to add or remove beats in most editors I've worked with is to double click -- double click to add a hit and double click again to remove it. I'd loooooove to see the JS bar editor work this way.

To expand on this, there would be defaults for each double click -- RF = Kick, RH = Hat, LH = Snare, LF = take your pick. These would be the natural choice 80% of the time. Once you've added your hit, right click to see the instrument menu, where you can change whatever you want as you do currently.

Anyway, that's my two cents. Not knocking JS at all -- it's an amazing program -- but this seems like a much more intuitive approach to the manual programming aspect. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I agree with this. When doing manual editing, it's a pain to have to search for the desired piece in the menu every time. Easiest is to have it select the last piece selected for that limb. BTW, I think by default, LF would be hihat foot chick.

A agree.Although new to JS this dragging an empty box to delete or the other option just aren't natural and stops the work-flow and makes it awkward especially in such a small window.Almost all my other software a double click to delete is normal.
