1. Was wondering if there could be an option in the part menu to have fills set on every other repeat. (or better yet, u can set how often there is a fill, like every 4 or 8 or x amount of bars, within the part.) This makes sense, because most rhythms are one or two-bar patterns, and typically fills won't be played more often than every 4 or 8 bars. So if you create a new rhythm, often you don't want there to be any consistent change to the basic groove, e.g. if it is a one-bar pattern that has 4 core bars, jamstix brain may add some hits to bars 2, 3, or 4, and now those hits have become part of core bars, which will be repeated consistently. To avoid this, you can either manually copy the groove in bar 1 to bar 2, 3, and 4, or you can shorten the "part length" to 1 bar. But then, you are limited with your fill options, because repetition fills would be every bar, and transition fills are only on transition to a new part. (Unless i am missing something which would make this easier.)

2. Is there a way to tell jamstix to limit fills to only certain parts of a kit? For instance, i loaded up just a darbuka in BFD 2 Percussion (which loads it up as a snare) and made a pattern, but now i'd like to have it generate fills that will only play the darbuka (since i have no other sounds loaded up, any kick, tom, cymbal hits are silent anyway).

Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion one the fill option. We'lll chew on that.

Concering the fill focus: you can control what the fill plays by turning the focus knobs to zero, except for snare. Also, turn the kick sliders to zero. You'll still have a few missed hits but it should be less.
