Hi Ralph
I have eventually got my new Q9450 system up and running, after a major meltdown of my previous PC which had JS1 & JS2 installed.
JS1 running fine
With JS2, I didn't do a tradional install, I thought it would be easier to just copy folders from my old PC. Entering License codes as needed.
All worked fine until the 2.5 update.
Nothing too serious, all seems to work fine, except I get the above message.
I ran the updater to the relevant folders, also updated a few files manually.
I get the impression that the skins folder might be the culprit, I checked all the other folders file by file.
Like I say, JS2 works fine, and must say the new additions are great.
and I'm really looking forward to Jamcussion.
Is there a simple way to check which files are causing the message?

The message is caused by the file js2.ini in the 'sounds' subfolder. Try running the updater via 'Run As Administrator' (if you are using Vista). _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph
I am on XPpro SP2
I searched for the latest js2.ini and placed it in the active sounds folder. and all's well.
Thanks again _________________ john-studio64
