Hey there,
Loving Jamstix, but in an effort to optimize my PC (I get occasional clicks when I am using Jamstixs in Forte with Amplitube X gear also loaded) I was wondering if it is possible or at all helpful to put the Samples on a second drive than the computer's system drive where Jamstix is installed?
Thanks

Yes, i could imagine that it would be helpful to install the data folder to another, independent drive. This may well boost the loading time of the kits.
Seems like you could setup this path in the file jamstix2.ini ! |

But ok, i don't think loading the kits from another drive will fix your clicks and pops. The kits just got loaded faster. When they're loaded, the only factor is your system power which gets in effect.
Seems like you need a faster cpu. What audio interface do you have? |

I am using a MOTU traveler, using AISO drivers. The system is solid it's the low latency that I am running at that is causing the issues I think. I'll try the other drive by changing the .ini and let you know if that helped. Thanks for the tip on how to set that up.
