Hi All,
New to here
I am trying to get the Jamstix Demo to work with cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3.0.
GTP3 finds the VST plugin and loads up Jamstix. When I actualyl try adn use hte plugin within the program it immediately crashes out to Windows XP and sends up the usual MS error box.
Desperate to get this software working after seeing what it can do !!
Hope you guys can help.
I am using the Cakewalk VST as built in and have tried the new patched version - same problem.
Do I need to do anything else?
Thanks so much

I have no problems with Cakewalk VST 4.4.4 in Sonar. What version do you have? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

HI there
Thanks for reply. I am using Cakewalk VST 4.4.2.
In the VST configuration Jamstix Demo is enabled and installed / enabled as DXi.
It completely crashes out once I try and use the plugin with this configuration
Thanks for any help

In the properties of the VST adapter, only two boxes should be checked: 'Enable as DX plug-in' and 'Configure as DXi synth'.
If it still doesn't work, try upgrading the adapter to 4.4.4.
Also, Jamstix runs much better with DirectiXer (www.tonewise.com) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I couldn;t get the CW VST 4.4.2 to work and I can;t find 4.4.4 upgrade. have mailed CakeWalk support to request.
I managed to get this awesome program to work by using Directixer in GTP3.0
Superb program.

The DirectiXer demo has a beep or noise every 30 seconds. If you end up thinking about buying it, check here first because we are working with Tonewise on a bundle deal Jamstix+DirectiXer. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the info.
Yep, I think DirectiXer + Jamstix is the way to go for me. hte beep is highly annoying and a bundle would be great. How quickly would the deal be able to be setup?
Best wishes

We're waiting for the Tonewise team to finalize the deal. We were told to expect this the end of this week. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thank you Ralph.
I will wait in that case and buy it from you guys in a bundle.
What a fantastic program - I am hooked already. The live jam
combined with guitar in Guitar Tracks Pro is superb.
Thanks also for great customer service!
