I know the product isnt even out yet, but I like it a lot and am thinking about pre-ordering. Have you guys given any thought to update process? Will updates be free? or do you plan on paid updates? I know some companies do it different ways. Just curious what rayzoon's plan is.
thanks |

Hi gmon72 and welcome to the board!
We will release free maintenance releases to fix bugs and simplify usage. We will also add minor enhancements to those free releases as well as additional rhythms & fills for the library.
You will only pay again when you want to upgrade to the next major version of Jamstix (2.0), which is scheduled for release next year. We will offer substantial discounts to existing users, currently projected at 40% off retail.
You will also get discounts on other Rayzoon products, such as the upcoming JamBace.
Let me know if you have any other questions. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thanks of the fast reply!
I have tried the slicy drummer demo and was about to get it, but Jamstix looks like it takes it to the next level.
Cant see any reason to get slicy drummer now. |

Hi congrates on such a good product, I have just preordered and cant wait to have jamsticks play my bfd as I'm lazy at heart when comes to programing in drums or anything for that matter.
I was about to buy either virtual bass or broomstick next, would much prefer jambace, as I'm quite happy with just one good bass sound though. So was just wondering how far in the future is jambace likely to be? I realise you can't give specific dates, but is it looking like a few weeks months or more like a year away.
Thanx and keep up the excellent work |

Our current projection is September this year.
By the way, as a Jamstix owner, you will be offered a discount on JamBace. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
