|
|
hi all - i am just starting first project in cubase 4.5.2
and usually when i open up jamstix as vsti instrument it creates 4 tracks
which i can then send kik/snare ect to.
But i get only one track now - anybody remember the setting to create this automaticly ? i cant remember if its via jamstix or cubase , i would think if there is a default project setting for 4 outputs in jamstix ,maybe when i open it cubase will create those tracks ?
ahhh - me brain hurts!
thanks

Cubase 4 has a button to see the other outputs. Please check the Cubase FAQ at the Cubase forum for details.
Also, make sure 'Downmix' is off in the JS2 mixer or it will still downmix all outputs to out #1. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thanks Ralph - it was the button in vsti instrument rack to show tracks,
I can only have/see 4 tracks , can you tell me is it possible to have all the outputs of jamstix available in cubase ? is this a cubase issue?
I have selected 7 in jamstix saved /reopened cubase added JS in vsti but still it only shows track 1-4 available ? im used to working with 4 - as it was the same in cubase 3 ,but it would be nice to have the added control -
thanks

You may have to remove JS from the project and then add again to have Cubase add all tracks. Alternatively, Cubase may let you manually add the missing tracks. Not sure on that. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

FYI - even with taking out -new project , adding JS2 as VSTI , it only shows 4 available - I am posting and mucking about on the cubase forum to see if i can find a solution , or at least a way to manually add them.
I will post any info i find for other cubase 4 users.
