Would it be possible for me to fudge some conga sounds up by using some 8"/10" detuned toms [closest I can get] in unused RH tom slots of the standard kit, for example, and assigning the keys to the GM conga slots?
http://www.rayzoon2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3058&highlight=kits explains a little about how the brain sounds are routed of the sounds are not present. I guess I'd like confirmation that this would work, and how does the routing work if you use all the sounds. Are there already brain patterns that use the RH tom sounds by default, or is it ok to abuse them like this?
I'm just thinking of an interim hack [till jamcussion comes] to use to emulate an "african style" drum kit driven by some afro midi loops, and I need a full sounding kit.

Using RH tom slots will cause them to be used by any tom logic (groove, fill) on the right hand. This may or may not be desired. I recommend you try it out and see. You can use the 'Add' menu in the brain menu to add a 'Tom Groove' to any style. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
