|
|
Hi
I have experianced a lot of buzzing after I put this update in(similar to the intermittant noise from a protected demo synth.)
I had tried all of my other synths and eventually whittled it down to Jamstix which was the culprit.
I then went back to version 2.00 and the problem was rectified.
Is there a known problem with the latest version and FL8 ??
I am alittle concerned now about updating.

Please run the 2.2.1 updater and then use the Beta DLL from your download page on top of it. Let me know if that doesn't fix it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph
I have done what you have said and Jamstix is chugging away again ok.
I even unloaded FLStudio and reloaded To their 8.02 Version.
What caused this ,I do not know.
I did find another plugin from ComputerMusic,(Genesis CM.Too trancey for me ) doing the same thing.
I have got rid of it and all is ok.
No trouble with Fm8,pro53 Atmosphere etc.
It maybe the CM tryout plugins that cause upsets.
I have experienced a few strange things from CM downloads.
I would still like to know from your knowledge what causes a two to three second strong buzzes.(But CPU is ok)
Do plugins that are not top notch put a gremlin in the works?
Oh Well !!! Thanks for replying.
Sorry for not replying sooner as work gets in the way.

Buzzing can be caused by any number of things. A brief MP3 of what it sounds like would help in identifying possible causes.
Plugins run within the address space of the host and can cause various problems, depending on how well the host shields itself. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
