Sad I am using Jamstix with Mixcraft 4 and when I open it in Mixcraft it gives this error: You need to run the latest Jamstix updater. If you have
manually moved the data folder and/or DLL's, you will
need to manually move the update files.

The Jamstix2.dll is in the c:\program files\Steinberg\Vstpluggins\Jamstix2 folder

The Stock Kit, Part 1,2 & 3 are in
c:\Audio\Jamstix\

I ran the Install Pak from the program for each of the above

Program does run after you close error message

Any help for a new user would be aprreciated

JS2 expects everything except the dlls and some non-content files to reside in a folder called "data", that's how it installs initially.
After completed install you can move the data folder wherever you want, JS will ask for its location.
If in doubt I'd simply uninstall and reinstall everything into the Vstplugins folder and THEN move the data folder.
Moving only makes sense however if you can move it to a different partition or HD, if that's not the case I'd leave the data folder in the default location, minimizes (user-) error potential when updating.
Cheers,
Rhino

I did the re-install with no luck. Also copied stock kit, part1-2-3 into the
jamstix data folder and re-ran the instalpak. I looked at the .ini file and it is pointing to the data folder?? The program seems to be working other wise. How can I be sure all the kits loaded?
