Hi
I need your advice about exporting and mixing. Till now , I exported kick as a mono track while all other tracks as a stereo... just thought.. If it is not an unnecessary waste of disk space.
So... How do you export them?
And if as mono, how do you pan them?
Ralph, how is your opinion about this topic and how do you pan them?
Thanks in advance

The task of turning VSTi output into audio clips is up to the host. Most have a 'bouncing' or 'freezing' function for that.
Whether to use mono or stereo is completely up to you. Often times one will choose based on the given genre, style or mix. Keep in mind that Jamstix produces a stereo signal for every sound (close mic mono+stereo ambience or close stereo). Panning of each sound is also a matter of taste. Some songs benefit from almost fully centered drums while others need a realistic full-spread stereo field as if one would stand before the kit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
