|
|
Hello,
using SONAR 7.0.2 with Jamstix 2.2.2 beta14.
I am having this problem:
- Enable metronome count-in of 1 bar (in audio mode)
- Arm a MIDI track
- Start record
The JS2 transport runs during count-in, misaligning SONAR and JS2 timelines (JS2 is one bar ahead). Indeed, SONAR play position is of course not updated during count-in, but JS2 is!
This does not happen at all if I use MIDI metronome instead of Audio.
Completely reproducible here.
Thanks,
Mario |

This is a bug in Cakewalk. Please alert their support to have this fixed. I would describe it using your steps and this description:
"Sonar 6/7 erroneously increment song position data sent to plugins during the count-in when using the audio metronome, leading to an out-of-synch situation for plugins using song position data. This does not happen when using the MIDI metronome."
Ther work-around for now is to set the Bar Offset (Actual) in the JS2 Options to -1. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
