hi
I get the following error when OP 7.5 is scanning the Jamstix AudioM8 plugin:
Presumably problemmatic plugin ?

That must be an Orion issue. audioM8 is a straight-forward plugin that works with dozens of other hosts. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hmm .. posted on the Orion forum and someone else reports AudioM8 scans OK for them.
Weird.
Maybe some other unrelated problem & the message appearing at this point is just coincidence ? |

Damn, I'm stil getting this:
This was after I'd left OP to rescan. And when I go to VST effects list, lo and behold AudioM8 is missing.
Hmmph
What does it actually mean - that there is a problem with the plugin or OP ? |

These memory error messages can be caused by any numbers of factors. If you google for it you will get a lot of info.
We have not had any other case of such errors when scanning audioM8. I would recommend trying a different host, such as REAPER, just to see if Orion is the culprit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thanks
It seems to work fine in all my other hosts so must be something peculiar to the OP installation on my DAW ... |

Just to mention it, here Orion (7.62, latest version) runs perfect with Jamstix2.52 beta. Just one little thing - if I have a song running and load Jamstix2, Orion occasionally crashes and I have to restart (Orion.exe is not deleted from memory, asio driver is locked). This is no big thing, and seems 100% Orion related - so I just load Jamstix2 without the song playing, and it works ). |
