I've been fooling around with gear for weeks ... latest messing aroung wiht pickups. Anyway, I decided to make some music. This clip is a reggae-ish tune using:
- G&L Legacy ... stock pickups ... mid-brg notch about 5 Treb/8 bass
- Brown Note D'Lite 22/33 with 5881 tubes on OD setting
- Parallel cabs 1x12 Celestion G-1265 + 2x10 Emi 10516
- Yamaha Bass thru Fender Bassman
- Jamstix 2 for the drums
- Using Sennheiser e609 mics thru Bluetube preamp

Doveman,
I always find your stuff interesting when I run into it. Great tones here. I like the swampy mysterious vibe. I am not sure that this particular thing ever resolves into a whole, but it is interesting and again great tones and playing.

Yeah ... it was more a little diddy to test tone against ... with standard pickups ... then with noiseless ... just ended up liking the feel.
I'm not really much of a true song writer ... but I think if I really spent time with it I could probably do better. Just lazy ... when it comes to the real work.
But glad you liked the vibe of it. _________________ My playing here: http://www.youtube.com/user/dovemanvideo?feature=mhsn |
