I am changing signature in the middle of a song from 4/4 to 2/4. When it reaches the part with the 2/4 part, the beat monitor does not stop at the second beat, but rather contiunues to play the 3 and 4th beat with silence.
What should I do? |

Go to the 'Options' in Jamstix and check 'Time Sig Changes'. Then click each part in the song sheet (on the length or repetition) and set the time sig for each part to the correct value. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yup, did all that. Then I found out that my Live 6 doesn't have the time signature feature It's gonna cost me $119 to get the upgrade so I can add two bars to one song.
Is there a work around?

You can hand-edit the two bars as one 4/4 bar in the bar editor of Jamstix 2 as needed and then lock the bar.
2/4 is really just a fast 4/4 so this should work. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
