Hi Ralph , anyway of displaying repetition number in the playback -
alot of times when building a song , i'll just set large amount of reps for part - then when "feeling" where it should change , i have to divide down the bars per reps to figure out where to change the reps amount- this equates to basic math, and unfortunately , that stuff makes my brain hurt .
no biggie , just would be cool and save some time .
thnks again for Jamstix !

+1

Ideally I would like a '3-part' display that told me

part # (or name)
rep # (within part)
bar# (within rep)

This would really help me stay with the song structure when jamming...

Yes! I was wondering this too. Perhaps a different style of indication on the song timeline that a section change is imminent? As well as the large clock display of course.

That would be great!

I wonder if there is any way to send markers to the host (Tracktion 3 for me) that correspond to the part changes? It would be great if I knew when the part change was coming by looking at the host.

The VST interface does not provide a function to do that.

I recall something that sent out a MIDI CC from the VST, with the value being the part - e.g. CC40 (for example) value 2 meant part 2.

The CC would go out at the beginning of the part. Not sure if that's useful in this case.

Thanks for releasing that feature in the latest beta, the little vertical bar is nice but much too small to see when performing, which I assume is the point of it.

Are there any plans to put it on the big clock display?
