|
|
I want to purchase JamStix2 and Addictive Drums.
The only question I have not been able to get answered is whether there is an easy way to tell JamStix2 to create grooves/fills using all of the drum hits and MIDI notes that AD has.
[Edit: The below comment pertains to the free JS2 demo, in case that affects your answer.]
For example, loading up the AD sub-hosted kit, it looks like JS2 offers me 2 different closed HH variations (HH Closed and HH Foot Closed). But AD offers 6 closed HH choices than that: HH Pedal Closed, HH Closed1 Pearl, HH Closed1 Shaft, HH Closed2 Pearl, HH Closed2 Shaft, and HH Closed Bell.
Is there a way to add to the choices that JS2 offers, so that I can have more than 2 closed HH variations to make use of all the options that AD offers? The same goes for all other other types of drums (kick, snare, toms, cymbals, etc.).
Thanks! |

Hi lunker -- i am a bit new to these articulations as well
but if you right click on the hihat in the mixer pane you will see
Hi hat open
hi hat close
hihat foot close
hihat foot splash
so there are 4 slots to map to.
Not 6, but more than 2 |

Lunker: you would have to map those extra sounds to other unused slots and manually use them in the Jamstix 2 bar editor, if you really need them. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
