Hi,
I just downloaded the 2.2.1 update from my d/l page and installed it.
The problem is, I'm only seeing v2.0.5 when I fire up the VSTi:Jamstix 2 in REAPER v2.206.
Is there someting else I need to do to complete the update?
Cheers

Hi Doc
Well, my jamstix directory is on drive D, although I did confirm that that was where it was during the installation.
Unless the VSTi is calling some place else. There hasn't been an updated VSTi for JS2 has there? (I have the original JS2 VSTi).
/d
PS has the version graphic been updated since v2.0.5 on the front page i.e. should I be seeing v2.2.1?
Just a thought!
ALSO - I don't recall downloading and installing the JS2 Plugin download or the JS2 Drumkit download. Could this be the problem? (Links have now expired b.t.w) |

I'm having the same problem. How did you resolve it?
I had Jamstix 2.1.4 installed. I then downloaded and applied the next two updates. Yet when I call up JS2 in Sonar, 2.1.4 still opens. (Yes I made sure the current dll was properly placed). I've even uninstalled, got rid of all Jamstix folders, and reinstalled to a dedicated drive. All info and updates are routed to this drive.
Actually when I select the dll, the screen for 2.2.1 does come up over 2.1.4. But it's just a second interface with 2.1.4 still open. And when I close the interface for the older version, 2.2.1 disappears as well. Then, yes, upon calling up JS2 again, 2.1.4 comes up. Very confused. Help?
Thanks |

In the end I downloaded the latest files (which Ralph kindly unlocked for me again) and then did a completely fresh install rather than an update from an earlier version.
Also, make sure all references to the JS VSTi are removed from your host apppliction (e.g. directory scan references) and renew those as well. |
