I am using EXDRUMMER with JS and some of my own midi files and the hi hats are getting played on one of the crash cymbals. I know very little about mapping. I know there's a learning curve....What do I do to get the correct hit on the correct drum? I guess I am asking for mapping 101. Embarassed

How exactly do you have things set up? Is EZD loaded into JS or in the host?

Couple more questions:

a) What version of Jamstix?
b) What jam mode is JS in?
c) How are you using your MIDI files with it?

JS 2.2.1

I tried to recreate exactly what I was doing but I couldn't find the original midi file.

Now, though, I am in Jam-no input playing the song "Brush Swing" with the brush player and EZD as the sub host. The snare part is getting played on the lowest tom. I undertand that that its a mapping issue but I don't understand how to set it right.

IF u want to be sure that there's no sounds play by the drummer try the silent drummer and try the groove import.
Then when u 'll load ezdrummer js2 ASK YOU if u want to map all the sounds to be used with jamstick.
