I'm just bumping this thread because I just bought a Macbook for complicated reasons. Jamstix is the only glitch in my recording plans (with the Mac) so now I am dual platform.
Is anybody using Boot Camp on a Mac with JS2? How is it going? |

I am. Well, feeling my way around it, to be truthful. The Bonzo Pak is awesome, and the 'liveness' amazing. There's nothing quite comparable on OS X so far – Groove Agent 3 is OK, but hasn't got the 'brain'...
From a tech standpoint, just fine so far. I'm using XP SP2 (with the Firewire update) on a MB Pro 2x2.3/3 GB, Tracktion 3 (which works much better in XP than Mac OS 10.4.10) and an RME Fireface 400.
Once Doc and Ralph helped me with the updating procedure, everything seems smooth and inspiring.
