8 measures of intro, and the 8th measure (which in reality serves as the second measure of the first verse which starts acapella) ) should have kick and cymbal choke on beats 3 and 4 (dont know how to do cymbal choke, either. I click the icon, it makes no sound!)
Verse 1 (minus the aforementioned acapella intro) is yer standard 4/4 groove with kick on the 1, and the "and" of 2 and 3. However, that kick and cymbal choke happens on every beat of every eighth measure, within the pattern of the verse. So the eighth measure of the sixteen measures that the verses consist of. Got me?
The first measure of the second verse is supposed to built up eighth notes on the toms and kick, louder and louder, until the 3rd and 4th beat of the 2nd measure explode with the kick/choke.
I am not asking anyone to do this for me as I willnot learn how to do it. I am wondering if someone can either offline or on this forum tell me how to do it.
Thanks. GGn

Here is how it works: think of the choke icon as the hand that stops the last cymbal played on the limb. So you'd place it on the 16th AFTER the cymbal icon that you want to choke. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

And the choke has to be with the hand that's not hitting the cymbal itself. Clever!
Ok. I am willing to pay someone to program this song for me. I am so frustrated. I have tried three times, and it's the end! Finished!!!!
If anyone wants to, I will send them the song done acoustically with instructions attached, and I will pay, say, $20, via Paypal.
I have failed. I suck. _________________ www.gilbertneal.net
