Played with the JS demo quite a bit this weekend and I'm sold -- damn cool software. There are a lot of great drums sounds on the market, but the AI is amazing -- you have truly come up with something special here. I don't know of any other software that makes beat construction so easy, fun and genuinely exciting.
My preorder question is this: My studio PC doesn't have an Internet connection -- do I need one to activate the software? I can d/l the prgram on my 'online' PC and transfer the files with a thumb drive, I just didn't know if the machine I plan to install it on needs to be connected for installation/verification...
Also, one other question. I'd love to know who the different drummers were modeled after -- for JS2, but especially for the Metal Pak (which I'm thinking of getting as well). Some of the first names are obvious, but some are not. If you can't post the names here for legal reasons (similar to the Line 6 amp models, etc.), please drop me a PM.
Thanks in advance. Looking forward to the full version. |

my music computer isnt connected to internet either - use your other comp, dl, and dump it onto your pocket drive and you're good to go.

As Proto said, you can transfer the install files to your music computer. Jamstix activation does not require the Internet. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Oh, wow. How I didn't guess one of my favorite drummers by the first name is beyond me, but you definitely just sold another Metal Pak.
Thanks much for sharing. Can't wait to get this... |
