Hi -
I am a registered Jamstix 1 user, but I have not used it in a while because I had an older PC that could not reliably run Jamstix. Recently, I bought a new PC so I visited rayzoon.com to check for the latest updates to Jamstix, but there does not appear to be a link to a download area or registered users area on the web site.
FYI, the latest Jamstix update download I have is v1.81. How can I get the latest version of Jamstix version 1? Thanks! |

Jamstix 1.81 is the latest version of Jamstix 1. There will be no further updates for that revision. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I need to reinstall JS1 and relevant paks for an old project I want to reopen.
I have successfully re-installed my original download and (after some digging in the forum) managed to re-install the paks.
I have also run the the jamstix_update181 but my 'about' tab is still showing Release 1.42, which is weird because when I open the 'revisions' doc it includes all versions up to Version 1.81 - 2/14/2007, so the update is obviously doing something.
Do I need to run the interim updates in sequence? (which would be sod's law, cos I only recently deleted them, and they're not on my download page!)
Any help appreciated... |

Check the location of your Jamstix DLL that the host is using and then run the 1.81 updater again and double-check that it states the same location at the end of its processing. If not, move the files from that location to the location the host uses. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I purchased Jamstix1 quite a while back and had it running with sonar 4. I have not used my DAW for a long time but wanted to start recording again. I deleted many of the files and programs that I did not use from my cpu- one of which was Cubase.
Everything with sonar is still working ok, but whenever I open an old project that contained a jamstix track I get a message that says the VST jamstix plug-in is missing. Im trying to reinstall jamstix, but I dont see it in my downloads. But i do see the jamstix.dll file which is located in "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\jamstix" so maybe I screwed something up when I deleted Cubase? Not sure what the hell I did.
If I was more computer-competent maybe I could figure this out on my own, but sadly that just isn't the case. If you could get this newb pointed in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Thanks much,
Jesse |
