I've got version one and I just checked it out and it's fine.I'll just go through what I did just in case you missed something. I open Sonar, install Jamstix in it's own audio box. click echo on in midi.I then inserted Project 5 as a rewire, added Z3ta and jammed around with that for a bit .Quite heavy on CPU AT 23% BUT NO CRASHES.I hope you get it working. It is well worth it.

Well, yes and no. The problem was discovered after the beta testing ended using the final release candidate. The actual released version isn't in anybody's hands yet that I know of. It will be a week or two before I can check that out.

I just got P5 version 2 a couple of days ago. With the latest version of Jamstix released yesterday on the 28th, Pro 5 still crashes as soon as Jamstix is called up.

Whatever the bug is it's worth working out. I've had P5 version 2 for just a couple of days and it's already my favorite DAW platform. It really is an awesome program!

I just tested Jamstix with the P5 V2 demo and it works fine when wrapped with DirectiXer.

OK that works. $45 that I'd rather not spend, but it does work.

I had to use the "alternate window sizing option" in order to see the Jamstix window. What are the best DirecteXer settings for Jamstix and M8?

Is DirecteXer 2.5 the latest version?

I can't get m8 to work with DirecteXer. Should I use Jamstix with the DirecteXer wrapper and M8 with the FXpansion/Cakewalk wrapper?

We are working on a deal for Jamstix users.

Yes, the alt GUI option is needed for Jamstix and audioM8. No other special settings are needed.

Yes, it is

audioM8 should work fine in DirectiXer. What are your symptoms?

You can run it in P5v2 using Chainer...

OK, everything is really close to being cool now. My only problem right now is when I use Jamstix with DirecteXer, the output numbers of the ports are all screwed up. I want to be able to do the typical things like add a little extra low end to the kicks and keep them reverb free, and add just a hair more reverb to the snare than to the rest of the kit. When I assign drums to outputs though, they don't seem to come out of DirecteXer in the right order. Is there a particular setting that keeps the output order straight?

There are various output routing options in DirectiXer, just open the properties for Jamstix in DirectiXer and you'll see.
