Shocked

i just downloaded and installed the latest upgrade to jamstix 2xl -- now my sonar 6pe sessions using jamstix cannot control the volume from sonar within the track.

i just did a bunch of songs last month with jamstix and i'm pretty sure this wasn't the case before -- i would have thought that i would have noticed since i use alot of track automation control for volume, panning, etc. inside my tracks.

is this new, a known issue or have i just lost what's left of my tiny little brain? Rolling Eyes

Please right-click on the power knob in Jamstix 2 and see if it is mapped to a MIDI controller.

Also, are you using 'Volume' (MIDI CC#7) in Sonar to control the volume?

i haven't altered the way sonar handles tracking volume internally - so my assumption is yes to the second part since it has always worked before.

i am about to fire-up the system for today's work so i'll double check to see if the mapping within jamstix vsti somehow got altered.

back to you after the session.

thanks!

session break! Very Happy

okay - i'm calling this a fluke in sonar 6 which seems much less polished than previous versions - making me wonder if i really want to upgrade to version 7 -- anyway, when we fired it up this morning, jamstix worked as it always has for us. don't have a clue why it was misbehaving last night unless sonar glitched on something when it loaded the app.

anyway, sorry to have bothered you.....

(more drum kits -- we want more drum kits!) Twisted Evil Laughing

ttyl..... Very Happy
