HI. I *really* wish I could buy all these add-on packs, and I really do appreciate the service you get from Rayzoon, but I simply cant afford 50 bux more for the samples. Is it fair that maybe I can get just the 70's styles? Assuming that the money's worth is in the samples which sound fab from the demos, but I just have too much with jamstix vanilla and ezdrummer plus 3 addons! I am however highly interested in the playing styles (I too, have bought jamstix mainly for its brain to be used with other sound sources)
is there any hope for ingrates like me? |

Well, BonzoPak is actually 39 bucks right now, not 50.
We are thinking about ways to accommodate those who do not need the samples of BonzoPak but we don't have a solution at hand at this time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph, I also found the bug with the part needing reloaded before seeing the "default" button.
But I found out that the button in question that switches between basic, power, default, etc. doesn't react like the other similar buttons in Jamstix. You can only use the left arrow on the button to go back to default, but not cycle past it. The other similar buttons in JS always let you use either right or left arrows to scroll through the options over and over.
Does that make sense?

Everyone: we'd love to hear stuff made with BonzoPak. If you don't want to post it publicly, you can e-mail it to me. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Loaded it up last night in the spare 30 minutes I had and loved it! I started to compare it to a certain other Bonzolibrary (which I won't mention by name), but didn't have enough time to really compare. Initial notes are: more options in BonzoPak, but can't get as dry a sound.
I'm considering watching some YouTube videos of drummers playing Bonham stuff and trying to match what they're playing in MIDI. |

I'm already working on the drums for a cover of The Ocean I'd been planning it for a while but this gave me the inspiration to get down to it. |

Imagine my dilemna! Here I am trying to fulfil my hard rocking, life on the edge persona having just installed both Metal and Bonzo Paks. Yet it's midnight here and I've got work in the morning with an important project to report on. Ah well, the dream sleeps for another day........
Ralph. You're getting bored hearing this but two more superb products! Are you still thinking about putting a style\drummer expansion pak out there? For what it's worth, I'm interested in extra styles and drummers for use in Jamstix2 - not in BFD, EZ etc.
Thanks again.

Excuse me if this question has been answered elsewhere but I just bought the BonzoPak and wanted to install the samples to a different location (where all my other samples are).
When I hit "Install Pak" within Jamstix 2.2. this doesn't seem to be possible. If I remember right it I could get it to work with earlier versions.

'Install Pak' installs to the 'data' folder, where ever that is. So if you have moved the Jamstix 2 'data' folder before then you're fine. Otherwise move it where you want it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I got the bonzopack and I love it.
Again:
The nice thing with rayzoon is that you can BLINDLY buy EVERYTHING they offer, the products are musically relevant, technically fine, well-designed, well documented, include 1a support and quick bug fixing and not expensive at all.
Ralph, what you are doing is a showcase of how things can be in the software world.
Keep it going! I am looking forward to buying extension packs of the future and Jampercussionist of course.
What I would love to see is some "old style" jazz drummer and style models as well as some famous bossa-nova and of course salsa/son percussionists (Buena Vista SC, you know...)
