1. is there a better/faster way to delete individual hits other than clicking on it then moving the mouse up to the delete button. it's very annoying to hear all those drum kit parts on the way to the delete button. muting the track every time is also annoying
2. is there a way to delete all the hits on a limb at one time
3. is there a way to UNDO the last recording when using LEARN to create grooves from scratch. CLEAR does too much clearing
4. using LEARN, how do you listen and play without recording? eg. I play/record tambourine then listen to that as I work out the shaker part without committing the shaker. make sense?
(no clue from the manual) |

Yes, drag an empty cell onto a hit to delete it faster.

Go to 'Options' and uncheck 'Auto-Audit Sounds'.

Click on the limb name (RH,LH etc.)

You can use the disk icon to set a revision point.

I don't understand. Please elaborate. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

let's say I played in (recorded) the tambourine part while in LEARN. now i can listen to it while I play in a shaker part. both will appear in the editor.
But, what if i haven't decided what the shaker part should be. I want to be able to improvise the shaker over the tambourine without committing to the editor what i'm playing on the shaker. in other words, I don't want the shaker to overdub while i'm improvising until I find something I like.
thx! |

Just keep 'Learn' off while improvising with the shaker until you have found what you want, then turn it back on.
You will need to turn on 'MIDI Play In Jam' in 'Options' for this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
