basically i love jamstix, think its the best vst ever made. however only now im wanting to use it with a bit more of my input and im finding it hard.
basically i want to write a song, then choose the style that most suits the song. however then i want to be able to change the core of the beat (ie. the kick and snare timings in the bar)
then i want the brain to continue playing this new edited style over each bar, with some improv and funkiness throguhout, but you know just using my kick and snare timing as the guide for his playing instead of this preset beat.
and i also want to still be able to influence the bain through the three sections after this edit (eg. kick power, snare ghosting, fill control, as per usual.) without it messing around with the beat guide i put in.
hope i explained it all properly. and i hope you can help.

| Go to Add->Classic Kick & Snare Controls at the top of the Brain menu. |

What Dysfunction said. (you must have Jamstix 2.2 for that function to appear)
Finally, you should disable whatever kick/snare elements are in your chosen style so they don't collide with your hand-programmed 'classic' kick and snare., This is done by left-clicking on the name of an element in the brain tab and chosing 'Disable'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

No, it's just for the groove. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
