I am really enjoying the learning process in discovering what Jamstix 2 can do. Last night I hit a weird little bug. Had Jamstix in Jam with MIDI mode with the host (Sony Acid Pro 6) playing. Went to the submenu to Mute Fills, and it freaked out. Long continuous buzzing noise. Had to close everything out and restart Acid. Tried it again with another song style and drummer, same thing. I am using:

Win XP Home SP1
Sony Acid 6.0d
Jamstix 2.1.4

Cheers!

Quite odd. Was Jamstix playing at that time or what the host stopped?

I'll look into it. As a work-around, please stop the host before using the Mute Fill or Accent function.

Ralph, it must be an Acid Pro problem. Just had a similar occurrence changing drummers. Host was running. I had created a little synth MIDI track using Crystal VSTi. Had another one linked to Jamstix in Jam with MIDI mode as out and was listening to different drummers and kits while the Acid project looped. At one point while listening to different kits I got an "out of system resources - cannot load" type of error. Left that screen, then came back in and could continue to load and listen to different kits. Then I started loading different drummers and after a couple got the buzz, then a message saying Acid Pro had an error and had to close. Had to reboot to get rid of the buzz.

Definitely seems like an Acid Pro issue?

Please see if Jamstix 2.2 RC2 solves the problem.
