| Hopefully soon. Because then Jambassist will be top priority. |

The 'Jamcussion' add-on should be released in Q1 2008 but we cannot put a more precise date on it at this time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Is this going be only a brain add-on, or just sounds, or both? If both, will there be an option to purchase only the brain? |

Originally, Jamcussion was supposed to be a separate plugin. However, given the tight integration of drummer and percussionist in most applications (which is difficult to do in a host environment across plugins in an unknown timing sequence) and the wastefulness of two separate arrangers, we have decided to make Jamcussion an extension of Jamstix 2. There will be new icons in the top bar to let you switch between drums and percussion. The bar editor, song sheet and brain will adjust accordingly. Jamcussion has its own sounds, styles and percussionist models. There is no plan for a brain-only option at this time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

This just gets better! That sounds great! Excuse my excitement but I have only just had a chance to really play with js2. One of the best bits of software I have spent my cash on and by far the least expensive. Brilliant! |

Any progress on this?
Will it be able to integrate with other plugins like EZ drummer latin percussion, Storm drum 2, True strike 2, Flying hands percussion etc?
That would be amazing.....although I'm sure it's gonna be amazing anyway |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you'll probably be able to map every articulation the brain delivers to 3rd party modoles like in JS itself.
Since all percussion libs I've heard work with individual sets of articulations there certainly will not be a 1:1 adaptation.
But let's wait how good the Rayzoon sounds are, I've got high hopes for those, going by JS2 standards. No need for me then to use an external module as long as I can use a few individual outs.

Not set, yet.
Arcana, you will be able to map the sounds to match 3rd party modules as much as possible. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
