Is there a simple template setup for each channel for Kick, Toms, Snare etc. When I've tried this I just can't get them to correspond to the jamstix number I've chosen.Pressing mouse on a tom which I've set to 2 brings up insert 5 etc .I get the tom sound but not where I expect it. _________________ EMU 1820M user |

Hi Ralph
I did the set output routing and set it to 8.It's just that, when I right click on one of the drums and change the audio out,I can't get it to sound in one individual midi insert.Say kick on 1 channel snare 2 toms 3 etc.Like Kravacs video of Jamstix2 in Samplitude.

Not sure I understand. If you have chosen 8 outputs in the JS2 mixer and the 8 output routing template in the kit menu then Jamstix 2 will send the sounds as indicated to the different stereo outs. What the host does with those outputs (naming, numbering etc.) is up to the host. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I have the same problem.
I use Magix Music Studio 2007 and I found out that this program is not vsti multichanel compatible.
So you have to look if your program is able for multichanel use.

The clue is that you will have to create a multi-out template in Live telling Live about the routing of the JS2 multi- outs.
Do it once and save this template to have it readily available.
It´s no problem to do it in Live. |

Hi Doc
The problem is getting the number I pick in Jamstix to be the same in Live.I go right click on the middle tom,go audio out 3,say Tom 3 left, and in Live it'll sound on audio insert 7.
Audio from 1 Jamstix.
JS2 out 7.
Should I send a print screen to Rayzoon support? _________________ EMU 1820M user |
