Is there a manual?
Ive finished copying a drum track from one of my old Rock songs in jamstix 2's sequencer>>by inserting parts (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, etc)
and maually drawing in each drum hit.(kicks, snares, hats, etc)
Now i want to load up a drummer, add some fills between sections, but not overdo things.
Before doing anything do i need to save each section individually (verse chorus etc) as SAVE BAR?
Which mode does j2 need to be in when adding feel from grooves/drummers over my j2 drum patterns in the internal seq>?
Ive watched the videos but i have to say that shes' too quick explaining things...good for advertisement--not good for tutorials......I never really understood how to promperly use all the options in jamstix 1......perhaps you could make a 10-15 min drum track video which would show us how it works? |

Click the book icon in the top right corner of Jamstix 2 for the PDF manual.

First off I'd keep a backup copy of your work so far as a host project as well as via the disk icon in Jamstix 2. That way you won't lose your hard manual work.
After that you have two options:
a) If all your parts are using the 'Silent' style then you can load drummers as desired and they will add accents and fills. If you don't want accents just reduce the sliders in the accent tab.
OR
b) Go to each part and do 'Save Bar', then use the file with the 'Import' style. If you are using the current Beta and are using 1-bar patterns then you can just use 'Turn Groove Into A Style' in the bar editor menu as a shortcut. You'd also choose a drummer model, of course.

Any jam mode with a drummer model will do that. Except for drum module mode, of course. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
