Let me be the first to admit that I seem to be doing something that is very, very unsupported.
However, I'm optimistic that the problem I'm having is the only hurdle preventing me from actually making the Linux - Wine - Reaper - Jamstix combination work.
The issue I'm talking about is 'mouse clinging'.
As soon as the mouse moves over any 'background' part, the window attaches itself to the cursor like it wants to be dragged around.

So far, by using RAM lag (making my computer pause for a second, chewing on swap), I've been able to move the cursor over the 'Install Pak' button and get some JS paks installed. All the controls work... if you can somehow avoid the background.
JS works just peachy and sounds great as always. Only, all the panes (kit, mixer, etc) cling to the mouse. Makes JS very hard to use.
Edit: Took out the blurb about me being stupid. Nevermind. But the rest of the post is still relevant.
