Hi Ralph-
You (and others) so often offer helpful comments/suggestions on this forum I'd like to be able to grab easily when I'm browsing through.
I don't see any way to forward these messages to my e-mail address, a feature I find very useful in other forums. I can route them directly to a "Tips" folder. I'm often at work when I check in and don't always have time to cut & paste to save these "gems"! If this forum has a "Forward" option, can it be enabled?
I know you've said that since folks use JS2 in so many different ways it's difficult to come up with "just the right" videos, but adding this forum feature would make it much easier for some of us to collect your thoughts.
Just one of my own-
Thanks, and thanks for a great product!

Hey Susan, nice to find you here, but I should have known, since I already knew you've been using Jamstix for a while.
Great product, just getting deep now into it
Cheers,

I certainly agree that this forum is a great source of information about how to get the best out of JS, and that Ralph and the user community in general are very generous in taking the time to explain things to numpties like me.
Inevitably threads go off topic at times, and sometimes the 'gem' that you remember reading can be hidden on page 3 of a thread with an apparently unrelated title. The search facility obviously helps, and this suggestion from Susan would also help to build up a personal knowledge base. But the suggestion has got me thinking...
Has there been any discussion or thought about a Wiki style knowledge base? This community is one of the most constructive and supportive I have found online, and has a wealth of knowledge about the product(s) and related areas (e.g. Rhino's drumsound tutorials). I appreciate that it would take time and money to get it started, but in the long run I think it could save Ralph time, and could provide a fantastic (and constantly improving) 'manual' for a fantastic product. |

A Wiki has been considered. It's all a matter of time resources... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I understand the dilemma. I wouldn't want to distract you too much from giving us even more lovely functionality! |

Hey Mario-
Fancy meeting you here! I'm sure you'll enjoy JS2 more and more the more you get into it! MIDI Learn is a huge new feature for me.

Back on topic -- There're so many big & little Tips & Tricks here that I think it really would benefit Users to have a way to collect them for themselves if a Wiki isn't practical right now. And more in-depth videos would be most welcome. Maybe there could be a poll of what folks most want to see demonstrated?
Thanks-
