1. Recorded about 12 songs with Rayzoon on Cubase.

2. Cubase petered out for reasons I will not mention.

3. Use Cockos Reaper.

4. need to rerecord all my old stuff, but hoping to use all the drum parts from Cubase.

5. How do I find those parts, what sort of file would they be, and how do I import them?

Failing all this, how do I get Jamstix 2 to look like Jamstix 1 when I'm writing parts? I refer specifically to the grid of blocks you move and give fill/end/into assignments.

Also, how do I access all those fill choices? It seems like 2 doesn't offer that to me, or I haven't found it. You know, the one with all the funky titles to the fills?

Will the .csh files have the Jamstix info?

You can transfer the Jamstix data from one host to another using 'Save Bank' in the old host to create a FXB file and then using 'Load Bank' in the new host to load the file.

JS2 is totally different from JS1 but you can use the 'Jamstix Classic' style to get something that is very reminiscent of the old JS1 rhythm tab.

JS2 has a new fill generator that creates fills from scratch instead of pre-made fill files. It is very powerful and gives you control over the characteristics fill. Please see the manual for more information.

If you need to use a JS1 fill in JS2, use the 'Import' function in the bar editor.

Thanks Ray. Sadly I have no Cubase so it's too late for importing or saving anything.
